In addition to our world-class curriculum and聽Lifelong Learning聽approach, we have a keen focus on quality 鈥撀爐his is why聽most of our鈥痗entres鈥痑re currently聽Meeting or聽Exceeding the聽! Our Quality Team are at the聽centre聽of this commitment.聽In 2021, our Quality Team is made up of nine聽industry聽professionals聽who collectively bring almost 180 years of education, training, assessing, teaching and regulatory authority experience to 黑料专区.
Our Quality Team is currently comprised聽of the following exceptional individuals.
Jodie McClelland聽heads up a聽national聽team of state-based Quality聽Advisors and supports the overall vision and execution of our internal quality process. In addition, Jodie leads the Assessment & Rating committee coordinating in-centre support, drawing resources from our management, education and聽centralised聽office teams.
翱耻谤听Quality Advisors聽鈥� Angie Beness, Anna Razak, Karen Turnbull, Kerri Stevenson, Meghan Webb-Wagg, Melanie聽Nour and Melanie Teunis 鈥撀爌ossess high levels of industry knowledge and work alongside our聽centres聽to聽achieve the聽best聽possible聽outcomes for children.聽And, importantly, they work closely with聽our聽centres聽during the ACECQA Assessment & Rating cycle.
翱耻谤听Quality Coordinator, Tracey Ling, liaises with聽centre聽teams, advisors and management聽to provide an additional layer of support. She is our聽quality data expert聽and聽conducts聽regular analysis to identify areas of opportunity for further improvement and growth.
What聽are聽the key focuses of our Quality Team?
- Apply industry knowledge and experience to integrate best-practices in聽centres聽and achieve high-quality outcomes for children.
- Guide聽centres聽as they prepare for their ACECQA Assessment & Rating.
- Support聽centres聽as they continually work to improve their ACECQA Assessment & Rating.
- Coordinate resources and support in areas of management and education.
- Identify areas of opportunity for further improvement and growth.
Why do we focus on quality?
It is widely understood that the first five years of a child鈥檚 life are rich with learning experiences and growth聽and that these experiences lay a valuable foundation for all future learning and development.聽We are committed to providing every child with the highest possible quality care and education聽and,聽guided by the expertise of our Quality Team, we can see the positive result this is having in our community of聽centres.
How are we seeing improvements?
Through the tireless efforts of our Quality聽and Centre聽Teams, in 2021 we are proud to have聽more聽Meeting or Exceeding聽the NQS rated聽centres聽than ever before. 95% of our聽centres聽achieved聽Meeting or above in Quality Areas QA6-Collaborative聽Partnerships聽with Families and Communities聽and聽92%聽QA5-Relationships聽With聽Children, respectively.聽Even following the increased requirements for Exceeding and Meeting ratings in聽2018, 黑料专区聽had 119聽centres聽achieve or maintain a Meeting or Exceeding overall rating.
Our Quality Team is instrumental in delivering tangible improvements in our聽centres. They are natural-born collaborators who thrive when assisting others and they are dedicated to ensuring positive health and wellbeing outcomes for every child. They have big-picture goals as well as laser-focus on the little details. But most of all 鈥� they are committed to inspiring and nurturing individuals to reach their full potential.
