Leading The Way In National Quality Standards

黑料专区聽Group聽(Affinity)聽has聽improved their聽meeting or exceeding聽鈥楴ational Quality Standard鈥 (NQS) rating by聽28%聽since February 2018.聽聽

This聽is an聽improvement of聽9% on average each year, compared聽with the聽sector, which聽saw an increase聽of聽3%.聽This makes Affinity聽Education聽one of聽the聽fastest growing providers聽of quality within the Early Education and Childcare sector.

The latest聽snapshot by the聽聽identified聽that only 93% of services across Australia have been rated聽compared聽to the Affinity聽portfolio,聽of which 100% have been rated.聽As of October 2021, 87% of Affinity-owned centres were rated as 鈥楳eeting鈥櫬燼nd 鈥楨xceeding鈥櫬爐he National聽Quality Standards.聽This聽breakdown聽included 78%聽of聽centres聽鈥楳eeting鈥 and 9% 鈥楨xceeding聽the National Quality Standards.

鈥淨uality early education鈥痑nd care鈥痠s critical in a child鈥檚 development, particularly in the first five years of a child鈥檚 life. Affinity鈥痚nsures our children are provided with opportunities to experience quality learning through the implementation of鈥楤elonging, Being and Becoming鈥, the Early Years Learning framework for鈥疉ustralia.鈥 Jodie鈥疢cClelland, Quality Manager for Affinity聽explains.

Affinity鈥檚聽dedicated national Quality Team established more than five years ago. This is made up of nine industry professionals who bring 180 years of collective education, training, assessing, teaching and regulatory authority experience.

NQS ratings are鈥痙etermined by the鈥疉ustralian Children鈥檚 Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). They set a national benchmark for the quality of children鈥檚 early education and care services across Australia.鈥疉 centre must achieve 鈥楳eeting鈥欌痠n all鈥痵even Quality areas to鈥痳eceive鈥痑n overall鈥楳eeting鈥欌痳ating.鈥疉n overall rating of Exceeding NQS is applied to centres that go above and beyond the requirements of the NQS鈥痠n terms of embedded practice, critical reflection and meaningful engagement鈥痺ith families and communities鈥痠n at least four of the seven quality areas.
